For people who know what a decibel is and want a quick reading subject to the limitations of an iPhone microphone, this is awesome—it does one thing and it does it with elegance and simplicity.

Measures the db level almost perfectly
Perfect , works as advertised
This app doesnt work at all!
One screen with an analog decibel meter. The steel background looks nice, the needle animation is smooth & realistic. Accurate enough for basic readings. I wish it had a retina display icon. Also, Id be glad to pay for an Ad-Free version. Thanks, and God bless!
This app is pretty good
App crashes every time its opened. Doesnt appear to do anything but crash. To add to that, its icon doesnt show up anywhere on the iPad so theres no way of getting rid of it! Real waste of time.
It comes up 90db when its really supposed to be around 60db on the iPhone 5 because it has another speaker so plz fix it
Didnt work... At all... Just stayed at 60 the whole time...
Compared it to a high end db meter and it was with in a 3 db range of my phone. It seems to be closer to a db-c metering style.
Does what it is supposed to do. I would like to see a maximum readout added. Thanks!
As of now, this app is useless.
Loved this app, please fix!
I’ve been using the old version from time to time to check the loudness of my environment taking screenshots to remember them. Now I can finally add the decibels to an image :) The strip chart recorder is a great addition … very nice interface. The app overall is neatly designed and programmed with an eye for details. Thanks a lot. Nice work!
Simple analog meter but you can take a picture of the sound your measuring
It would be nice if it allowed me to go into a landscape view when I tilt my phone over. Just a a personal preference. And nothing a quick up date cant fix! Thanks!
Loved this simple app in iOS 5. Doesnt seem to do a thing in iOS 7.
This is great for documenting sound levels but would soar with the addition of a Date and Time and GPS stamp. For noise complaints that would be a crucial addition and put this one above the crowd.
But the meter is too slow to respond to the sound level and does not show peak level,
I will have my sound engineer look at it. 73#
