I would have preferred a digital display or both. but its still great

I find this app pretty good considering it was free, maybe its not 100% on the nose but its close enough for the average person. Worth the download

This app isnt even close to working. 90db for a conversation. I think not

I think you should make a digital one below it, it would make the app more better! can you please make a digital dB meter below it?

Tryed it beside a real decibel reader and worked well. Only thing is iPhone mic is limited to 100 db, nothing against the app

It is ok but compared to others it is a little of not much though only 10-20db so just have to remember of course it might be my mic on my iPod

Works good. But need an update witg more feature! And the icon should be ratina icon. Still on my IPhone4 and ios 6.1.3 this icon does not look very clear

The latest version with the strip chart and metering on photos is great. Love the analogue look.

And recorded charts is so cool! But I wish to control STOP/START record, and recorded charts delete selection swip direction want to revert, Apples standard direction is R to Ｌ, I tought. Bugs. Deleted charts remaining next time. My situation is iPhone 5/iOS 7.0.4 with Japaneese

The level is bit higher than it is, but I think it may be related to the built-in iphones sound correction system.

Ive had this app for a few years and barely used it. I tried several times recently to use it, but to no avail. Im deleting it and going with a different one. Not sure what the problem is (or was).

I tried multiple (free) versions and I do like this one the best! Simple. Straight to the point.

This app doesnt work I got this for my class project and I havent done anything to my phone I havent dropped it. This app doesnt work at all

A whisper is approx 30 db coming from various web sites, so I figure this app is relatively accurate (it said my whisper was 35ish)

First off, ignore those people who say this app is crap and not accurate. I have dealt with db meters for at least the last 15 years and this app was spot on. Normal conversation in the 3 to 5 foot range is between 60 and 70 db. Lying in your bed or in a quiet library is still in the 30 to 40 db range. This app is a no frills db meter that works!

If the reference decibels are correct, then this app is correct. I Think the iPhone mic can only register only up to 100 decibels, but thats loud enough for my throat to handle :)
